FIGMENT CURTAINS - 02 SHEER WALLED is a collection of 6 animated curtains for use in 3D Arch-Viz and VFX.

This collection includes a single type of curtain in Regular and Wide versions, with three wind options for each, totaling 6 animated curtains. These Curtains are ceiling suspended in uniform S-curve folds, and carefully simulated with a keen eye on pleasing motion, beautiful folds, and realism. Also included are high quality textures (Diffuse + Normal) scanned by our partner CG-Source, and custom made masks + displacement maps. The result is a versatile collection of realistic animated curtains that are loopable, delivered in production friendly Alembic, ideal for high-end 3D Arch-Viz and VFX production.

02 SHEER WALLED

• Curtain type has 2 width styles: Regular + Wide
• Each style has 3 wind options: Light, Medium, Strong
• 6 animated curtains in total
• Simulated as thin cloth that moves and folds easily in the wind
• Wind is partly obstructed by an invisible wall)
• Curtains are designed to have at least 2 subdivisions applied before rendering
• All curtains have 360 frames, and are loopable
• Set up dynamic slow/fast motion in your software's alembic playback settings
• Curtain measurements (approx.) as imported (width x height): Regular = 210x250cm, Wide = 420x250cm
• All curtains have two sets of UV mapping:
  • UV1 = Full curtain (for full curtain textures, masks, displacement)
  • UV2 = Real World-Scale (for tileable textures)
• Delivered as Alembic (abc)

TEXTURES

• 2 Cloth texture variants are included: Sheer A + Sheer B
• Each variant has a tileable texture (Diffuse + Normal), 120x120cm, in 2-8K
• Each variant has a full curtain texture (Diffuse + Normal), Regular = 500x250cm, Wide = 1000x250cm, in 2-16K
• The following masks and maps are shared between all curtains:
  • 3x Hem Overlap masks in 2-16K
  • 3x Hem Thread masks in 2-16K
  • 5x Wrinkle/Fold Displacement maps in 2-16K
• Delivered as 8 + 16-bit PNG
